Abstract


Bio:

Deborah is an active researcher librarian, primarily in the field of Indigenous librarianship.  She has worked at the National Library of Canada and Library and Archives Canada as a reference librarian. She transitioned to academic librarianship in 2007 to become the Indigenous Studies Portal Librarian and Team Leader and is now the subject specialist in Indigenous and Northern Studies at the University of Saskatchewan.  She has published widely, including two books (one edited and one co-edited), as well as journal articles in the Canadian Journal of Native Education, the Journal of Library Administration, the Canadian Journal of Native Studies, and has a forthcoming article in the Canadian Journal of Academic Librarianship.
